Alicia's House

Alicia loved people and loved helping people. She was very involved with her church and church activities. She loved to go to Sunday School, sing a solo on Sunday morning, and work with her Grandma Stella in the church food pantry. Alicia and her Grandma would spend hours packing the boxes of food for people. Although her Grandma had a specific way to nutritionally pack the boxes, Alicia would always add her loving touch by making sure each box contained candy.

Alicia's House was founded in the memory of Alicia Renee Diaz, who passed away January 14, 2001, at the age of 4.

To honor the memory of Alicia, who passed away at the age of 4, January 14, 2001, her Grandma Stella and her Poppy Juan started a non-for profit, 501c3, food pantry called Alicia's House. Alicia's House feeds hundreds of families each month and each box of food contains Alicia's loving touch.

In 2007 Alicia's House fed 2,909 families, 9,756 individuals, and distributed 115,385 pounds of food.  With your help we can do even more in 2008.  Alicia's House is totally supported by your generous tax deductible donations.
